Our letter chosen as the tastiest in Amsterdam

We are proud to share that our organic chocolate letter has been named the tastiest chocolate letter in Amsterdam by Het Parool. A wonderful recognition for a product that not only delivers exceptional flavor but also contributes to a fair and healthy supply chain.

Het Parool tested a wide range of chocolate letters from bakeries and chocolatiers across the city. Their expert panel evaluated each letter on taste, texture and craftsmanship. Ours stood out. The jury praised the depth of flavor, the balance between cocoa and sweetness and the distinctive character that comes from managing our entire production chain ourselves from bean to bar.

Why this recognition means so much

At Chocolatemakers we have been crafting organic and fair trade chocolate for more than ten years, supporting farmers, the climate and biodiversity along the way. Our production is fully CO2 neutral. Part of our cocoa arrives in the Netherlands by sailboat. The roof of our factory is covered with solar panels and all our packaging is compostable.

That this way of working results in chocolate appreciated by demanding tasters in our own city feels like a special validation. It shows that flavor and sustainability strengthen one another.

A letter with impact

Every chocolate letter sold helps protect the rainforest and supports a living income for cocoa farmers. We work directly with cooperatives in six countries where we invest together in restoring land and nature. This approach results in high quality cocoa that allows us to create chocolate with a deep and honest taste.
